The WAAS Drama Club proudly presented the NORTH CAROLINA PREMIERE of Beetlejuice Jr., and what an incredible show it was! 

Our talented cast brought the house down with ghostly antics, larger-than-life characters, and unforgettable performances that had the audience laughing, gasping, and singing along ("Daaaaaaay-O").

    What is WAAS Drama Club?

    The WAAS Drama Club, composed entirely of students from the Wilmington Academy of Arts & Sciences, offers young performers the opportunity to experience all aspects of theater production. Our 4th-8th grade students work tirelessly, as performers and stage crew, to put on outstanding performances that make the most of their unique talents. 

    Over the years, we've brought beloved shows to life, including The Lion King Jr., Spamalot, and Shrek, Jr, captivating audiences with our energetic performances and impressive student talent. With each show, we aim to challenge our students artistically and give them unforgettable experiences building skills that will help them wherever life takes them.
